EARTH DAY | A timely moment to share an earth friendly event we created for @inikaorganic a few weeks back. INIKA have worked hard to reduce their use of virgin plastics by 84% and increase the amount of recyclable content in their packaging to 74%. To offset unavoidable plastics they work with @plasticforests to recycle plastic into fence posts for farmers. All messages they wanted to showcase with the launch of their new plastic-neutral packaging. For our part in creating this event, we avoided any single use plastic and made the lush gardens with sustainable floristry techniques. We also used a @gogetcarshare hybrid for all our pre-event running around (and bring on the day when there is an electric van for us to use too). These things may sound small, but think about the thousands of events that happen daily and the difference it could make if these little steps became the norm. We’re in. #earthday
