A boho style wedding at Athol Hall is always a magical thing to create. We’ve been lucky enough to style a number of weddings at Athol Hall in all manner of styles and romantic ‘boho’ is one of our favourites. Stef & Josh had seen the work we’d done for Helena & Tom and wanted something similar.
Stef had a clear colour palette in mind with blush pink and peach tones. We added shades of toffee and cream for contrast. Or ambition was an open, artistic style that had a touch of boho whimsy.
To create this boho style wedding the couple were after, we spent months collecting dried foliage and pretty pieces. This is an important part pf boho styling, so that you can layer textures and different tones- and make them interesting. We also like to have lots of interesting angles and shapes to create our floral features.
For the hanging floral feature, we used a basket made of dried grape vines. It was the perfect to create a large scale hanging flower feature above the bridal table, without using horrible floral foam which is a planet polluter.
As always, we made sure the ceremony flowers could be re-used during the reception. We like to minimize waste and single use where ever possible when we style.
