We do a lot of corporate event styling in Sydney. From gala dinners to themed events, we really enjoy the variety.

Styling Spotify’s Christmas party was one such event that we particularly enjoyed. The party was for their end of year celebration.

Because Spotify is a multicultural work place, we were mindful that Christmas celebrations are different for everyone. The direction for the styling was to create a festive feel without making it too traditional. We steered clear of a lot of Christmas traditions in favour of an abundant styled feast that focused on having fun.

The day involved a sit down lunch and then an afternoon of games together. We split the space at Acre Eatery into two distinct areas – a chillout zone with couches and a beautifully styled table for lunch.

For this corporate event setting, we made use of the large long table that was positioned down the centre of the room. In the middle of the table we styled a lavish feature with rambling flowers, decedent chocolates and an abundance of cherries and nuts. Also included in the elaborate table runner, were gold candles of all shapes and sizes. This helped to create a sense of movement down the table. The whole look was designed to be rich and decadent with a fun and festive feel. When we returned at the end of the event, there wasn’t a single chocolate or cherry left!

Each table setting was finished off with a red linen napkin, a beautiful clay star and a Christmas cracker. We put ‘Christmas cracker’ under must-have fun, rather than tradition. No one complained.

For the chillout area, we created defined spaces with couches, rugs and coffee tables. The idea was to keep this area informal, but stylish. For our corporate event styling in Sydney we work with a lot of great hire companies. Our go-to for an informal, stylish vibe is Decor of Distinction.
