The brief from Smirnoff was to build an immersive faux grocery store as a brand experience. The grocery store concept was for the launch of their new product Smirnoff Crush. It was based on the consumer insight that modern daters were shunning the apps, in favour of real life ‘meet cutes’.
A objective of the grocery store was to authentically elevate the new product and deliver an immersive consumer ‘meet cute’ moment that worked for socials too. Authenticity was key here. The product integration needed to be natural and not forced.
The store needed to look ‘next level’ vibrant. Where bread and bananas looked fun and playful, along side the Smirnoff Crush product.
